The Hip Hop Youth Curriculum encompasses various techniques and styles such as: Brain/Body connectivity, beginning breaking, footwork, freestyling and creative expression. Movement phrases learned in class are used to create choreography in a non-competitive environment where students develop movement quality, musicality, and expressive personal style. Developmentally appropriate, fun, and guest teaching artists!
Student Showcase: May 2nd, 2026, 4pm Steddy theater, CFTA
(Performance is always optional. We support dancers choosing what is correct for them).
What to wear & bring: Please wear clothing that allows your body to move freely.Dancers can choose bare feet or clean sneakers for the studio. Please bring a water bottle and a healthy snack to each class. It’s hard, fun work!
