Intermediate/ Advanced Contemporary Aerial Dance for dancers with solid aerial foundation in Silks, Sling, Sequencing, and Aerial arts explorations. This class is intended for students with aerial experience who are ready to develop choreography & sequencing in the air. Dancers take their aerial dance practice to the next level- artistically and with technical skills. Students can expect to work on more complex aerial silks & sling technique, strength building, dynamic skills, sequencing, composition & choreography. Must have at least 2yrs of consistent aerial arts training.
What to wear/bring: Please wear clothing that allows your body to move freely. Be prepared to move in bare feet. Backs of knees, waists and armpits should be covered to avoid burns. A leotard or unitard under your T-shirt, or a shirt long enough to stay tucked in are recommended. Avoid clothing that has very hard seams and/or zippers. Please bring a water bottle and healthy snack to each class.
