This is a mixed-level class where students are appropriately challenged depending on experience with Aerial Arts. This class is meant to be repeated for Beginner and Intermediate-level dancers. We explore ways to move in and out of poses suitable to all flyers in silks.
We work on Foundational skills, climbs, and progressions. Students will leave the class with a new set of skills, poses, beginner/intermediate sequences, embodied knowledge from ground to air, and an understanding of how to create sequences/dance with aerial silks and slings.
A fun and empowering experience for all levels!
What to wear & bring: Please wear clothing that allows your body to move freely. Aerial friendly clothing: no zippers, watches, & jewelry The backs of the knees, waist, and armpits should be covered to avoid burns. Please bring a water bottle and a healthy snack to each class. It’s hard work!.
