Aerial Choreography Workshop (mixed apparatus)
Build choreography that moves with set music
Workshop Description:
A guided choreography focused on musicality, phrasing, transitions, and movement quality. Students develop a complete aerial sequence while exploring how to make movement choices that respond to the music rather than simply accompanying it.
Level/Prerequisite: Student can invert in the air- mixed levels
Date/Time: Sept 22nd, 6pm-7:30pm
Location: Steddy Theater Crested Butte Center for the Arts
Price: $75 (1.5 hr)
Apparatus: Student’s choice (silk, sling or lyra)

Abbie Rooney is an internationally accomplished performing artist, choreographer and movement specialist with over a decade of experience: creating, performing and mentoring in world-class productions throughout North America, Europe and Asia. She combines exceptional technical ability and collaborative creativity, both as a performer and coach: developing circus, dance and theatrical entertainment to deliver elite-level aerial and acrobatics.
